We have been instructed by the Lord Jesus Christ to go and make disciples.  We call this the great commission.  FBCD has a strong desire to honor the Lord and to follow His commands.  In order to do this we must seriously consider daily how we will accomplish this mission.  We believe it is best accomplished as each individual strives to live for the Lord and to be His witness to those in need of forgiveness of sin and salvation.  Corporately we accomplish this through our WMU and our missions team.

Each year our WMU and missions team seek to find ways to reach out in love to our community, our county, our state, our nation, and around the world.  This is accomplished through the cooperative program in conjunction with the BGCT and the SBC.  Together we will see thousands come to know Jesus Christ in the coming year.
